Radium Girl's was my first design opportunity, i wasnt very knowledgable or versed in lighting at the time however my ability to adapt and learn quickly was proven to me through this production. Again I knew next to nothing, my opportunities before this were of board operation and load-ins, but I am a very passionate designer and depsite a lack of knowledge I was determined to make an impact. I made a few bold descisions for a first show, green downs for example, my experimental tendancies while certainly a symptom of my beginings are also something I carry in stride today.
Watching opening night was the most pride I had ever felt in my life, yet immediately after the curtain closed, I knew I could do better.
